HANOI – Three dedicated cargo transport routes between Việt Nam and China were inaugurated in a ceremony at the border marker No 1090-1091 on Monday.
These routes pass through the trade points of Tân Thanh-Puzhai, Cốc Nam-Nong Yao and Hữu Nghị-Youyi Guan.
The event is seen as an important milestone for trade and tourism to boost the capacity of efficiency of customs clearance, responding to the increasing trade demands of both Vietnamese and Chinese people.
Addressing the ceremony, the deputy chairman of Lạng Sơn People’s Committee Dương Xuân Huyên said that the province gave high regard to the positive and comprehensive cooperation, and expressed his gratitude to the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region for its contribution to this achievement.
He hoped that the two sides would continue to closely coordinate, communicate and work together for the dedicated transport routes along Hữu Nghị-Youyi Guan, the largest land border gate between Việt Nam and China.
At the same time, he said it is necessary to agree on solutions that will enhance customs clearance and delivery methods that fit each side’s needs and conditions.
