BANGKOK – She is the third Thai national to win this title, with the first securing the crown in 2002.
Tia’s victory was attributed to her captivating presence, intelligent perspective and thoughtful responses, earning applause from both judges and her fans.
Last year’s titleholder Suphatra Kliangprom graciously handed the crown over to a visibly thrilled Tia.
“I just heard that winning this crown has made history. I’m overjoyed and want to thank everyone who has cheered for me. I worked very hard and gave it my all,” she said.
She also thanked Nawat Itsaragrisil, the organiser of Miss Grand Thailand, for providing her with the opportunity and support to compete in this pageant.
Tia was the first runner-up in Miss Grand Thailand 2023.
Tia returns to Thailand on Monday afternoon. The Miss Tourism International final was held on Saturday at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. This year’s competition featured 44 countries.
