Philippines cuts prices on diesel but gasoline, kerosene to go up on Nov 15

In separate advisories, companies such as Seaoil, Caltex, Petro Gazz and Cleanfuel said their pump prices of gasoline would increase by P0.90 per litre while diesel would go down by P0.30 per litre.

MANILA — Gasoline and kerosene prices are expected to increase while that of diesel will be slashed on Tuesday, Nov 15.

In separate advisories issued on Monday, Seaoil, Caltex, Petro Gazz, Metro Oil, Jetti, PTT, Unioil, Shell, and Cleanfuel said their pump prices of gasoline would increase by P0.90 per liter while diesel would go down by P0.30 per liter.

Firms that carry kerosene, meanwhile, will raise their prices by P1.35 per liter.

Caltex and Cleanfuel’s price adjustments will be effective Tuesday, 12:01 a.m. and 4:01 p.m., respectively.

The other oil companies will adjust their prices at 6 a.m. also on Tuesday.
