Masking up in Vietnam’s Binh Dinh province
Masks used in tuong or hat boi (traditional drama) are real artworks. Tran Ngoc Van, a war veteran in Quy Nhon City of Binh Dinh Province has spent many years drawing masks of tuong characters, which can be sold to tourists as souvenirs.
