BANGKOK – Students from Ayutthaya Witthayalai School have recreated the Fifa World Cup – with a Thai-style twist. The kids climbed aboard mounts from the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace and Royal Kraal for a football rumble.
The 11 elephants taking part were painted in the national flags of World Cup teams. The jumbo exhibition match was held to promote sports and campaign against gambling on the Fifa tournament in Thailand.
